The limit's condition or the city's edge is the building-site more definitive idea, with a missing urban qualification, usual on the cities growing areas where the new housing buildings rise in a disordered way mixing them with agricultural buildings or little industrial ones configuring a careless and heterogeneous landscape. All of that, in addition to the complexity to operate in a rough topography, was used as the basis to make the project inside the scenery offering a discontinuity with the urban structure to solve the own project by its disconnection from the surrounding's housing Inside the own building-site there is a group of conditionings elements which finishes the whole intervention and resolution in a really determining way: On one side, there is the solar's shape, a slightly enlarged and with a longitudinal slope that makes better the dwelling's in line-position to solve the houses' access without problems concerning with the topography's modifications by its adaptation; and on the other side, the surrounding road's proximity and the formal and functional impositions imposed by the furthered. All of them are reflected in the project by its insertion between the resolute buildings without the continuity solution respect the surrounding urban landscape. The own ensemble's formalization has been used as a reflection and study for the next project's determinations, such as the building's scale's adjustment, the finished materials, some sequences' construction materials, etc. The dwellings are socials so they have a restricted functional program. They are developed in three 15,15,and 14 two levels three bedrooms -houses' bands leaving the bottom's site as a back yard. The "Camino de las Monjas"'s façade is made with another 6 two ground four-bedrooms' houses strip with backyard also. |
