The fundamental idea underlying the approach of the project revolves around trying to create a thread to baste all loose and incoherent pieces that make up the land to which the works are, in addition to its relationship with the environment near, to solve all the constraints imposed by external agents to him, as are the creation of mandatory step to the center of the block, the connection between adjacent buildings and the remodeling of the lower part of the square, resolve the emergency exits and the path to disabled people, and compliance, as far as possible, the working program submitted. The new building is built around an current element which is now improved to become the axis around which we'll create new spatial relationships that divide and unite the two parts that compose the whole. There is a wall that runs the building from the façade to the background without interruption. On your left are houses built patio successive and empty bays which fill the space available, whereas on the right are less domestic constructions, with higher dimensions, through which pass to the bottom of assembly. This project is conceived as a pedestrian street with public and private, to result in another public space but also more appropriate treatment of small patios. Across the wall, We'll try to qualify each of the spaces and relationships. An entrance, an entrance hall, a gallery open to the courtyard and construction of plot background, coupled with it through a small backyard building on the slopes becomes a small multi-purpose stadium seating whose scene opens building fund. For covering the patio and the galleries we've used an element supported by the main wall , so It's possible to use the existing roof of the gallery, thus gaining an already existing living space and is now accessible, increasing a surface that is certainly low, since almost all elements are of community-based and representative. We've attempted to provide the building formal and spatial coherence, link all parts and clarify the relationship with buildings and enclosed spaces. Also We must solve the relationship with the urban space. All of this considering the restoration like the principal matter, leaving perennial, with a watchful eye, the different stages and building sistems so far. For all this is not surprising that it remains a courtyard house, a convent school and an adult center built in the nineties. Each and every one of them has its place and no one dies or kills. They all coexist. |
