The design and planning of campus raised the position and existence of an emblematic building, the Management, Administration and Library, to adopt the most unique situation within the overview of the Campus. This position, by conditions of topography, coincides with the main entrance and becomes the apex and origin of the central public space. Therefore, the building takes on a dual condition, like gate campus reception and watchtower overlooking from higher visual perspective of the whole. The building emerges flying over first place in the sequence that forms the central diagonal space, protecting it and characterizing it as the space for the relationship of the university community. This building incorporates all the central services of campus into its program, distributing in the enclosure of the square. The west and east facades are opened from the body flown down. |
